It's Been A While
Hello All,
I know I havent posted in a while. Sorry it's been very busy. I have been playing around with myspace. I don't see the big deal it's boring. We are coming up on summer movie season so check back here for the reviews because I am a sucker for the big summer blockbuster and this summer is special. We have Iron Man, Indiana Jones, new Hulk movie, and many more.
We are celebrating the demise of the Patriots dynasty. They are being exposed for the frauds they are. I have been saying for years they are cheaters and now it's being proven. Now if my Eagles will get rid of McNugget then football will be fun again. But beware NFL fans there is looming labor issues coming which experts have been predicting for a couple of years. It was mostly ignored by the mainstream media. Let's hope the smart people figure it out so we don't lose our favorite sport.
That's all for now. Next time we will talk about the past,present, and future of the only thing I love more than football...UK Basketball....UGH!!!

Sunday Sunday Sunday!!
Hey gang it's championship Sunday in the NFL. I don't forsee 2 good games today. We are surely destined for a epic showdown between Favre and the young Packers vs the Evil Empire of football. Pretty boy Brady and the Cheatriots will be favored but I predict a storybook ending with Lord Favre riding off into the sunset with another ring. Of course since I want this to happen it has no shot.
Just got finished with an awesome breakfast of eggs,bacon, and biscuts. Thanks to the official wife of Big Daddyz Blog, Tammy Sue!!! She is an amazing woman that deserves much better than me.
Back to football, our predictions...
Green Bay 28
New York 7
New England 42
San Diego 10
Even though we think both games will be blowouts we will still watch cuz that's what we do. We only have 3 football games left this season, unless there is some crappy bowl game that hasn't been played. Enjoy it while we can, waiting for football takes forever but the season goes so quickly.
We will turn our attention after football to UK basketball, UGH!!!. I watched the tease of a game last night against the hated ( and I do mean hate!!!) Gayturds. Thanks Tubby for leaving our new coach with a collection of stiffs. We will be good again so our fans need to be patient. If we are still this bad in 3 years then let's run the coach out of town. Until then give him a chance with his own players at least.
He has taken some criticsm for drinking a bit to much. Heck if I coached this team I would be drinking heavily too!!
That's all for now. I am going to try to live blog the title games, if the official wife decided to read instead of playing on the computer. I would say it's about 50/50 right now. If not we will have a preview of the big game after the dust has settled today. Happy Sunday everyone!!

A Little Late
Well I didn't get my previews for the other games this weekend. I was dead on with the first one wasn't I?
It's halftime of the Dallas/NYG game and I predict Dallas will pull away in the second half in this one. If we end up with a Dallas/NE Super Bowl I don't think I can stand to watch. I hate both organizations with a purple freakin passion. I am so rooting for Green Bay to win it all.
That's all for now it's time for Nick to eat. He is a true Gallaher in that he is an eatin,poopin,sleepin machine already. I may preview the conference title games later as Tammy is preoccupied with the baby so I actually get some computer time.

These teams are virtual mirror images of each other statistically, but that only proves that stats can sometimes be deceiving. The Seahags have no running game. Shaun Alexander is a shell of his former self as he has battled injuries and apathy all year. Meanwhile Green Bay started the season out that way but have found a diamond in the rough in running back Ryan Grant. Since taking over the starting role in Week 8 all he has done is rush for over 900 yards and 8 touchdowns. With a solid running game this frees up the legendary Brett Favre to pitch it all over the yard to his young wide receivers. In the playoffs the better defense usually wins and that team is Green Bay. Also in the divisional rounds the home teams almost always prevail. I see this game going to the home Packers in a game that will not be as close as the final score shows.

Nicholas Haiden was born on Friday Jan. 11th 2008 to Josh and Leslie Gallaher. Below are some pics from the hospital. Papaw has already been talking sports and singing to him. I figured I might as well get an early start on ruining him. He is the most precious thing in the world. He is a true Gallaher as the first thing he did in his new world was eat, poop, and sleep, just like papaw already!!! He should be home tomorrow just in time for playoff football.

11:00am - We are as usual at the #1 son's house camped out in front of the big screen. We have on the NFL Network for now until the regular network crap comes on. Oh how I long for the days of Brent,Irv, and Phyllis. Pop Quiz: Which is louder, Sterling Sharpe or his shirt.
11:23 - Mariucci is talking like the Browns actually have a chance against the Pats today. Yeah right, and I have a chance to hang out with Marissa Miller in Hollywood.
12:08 - Gametime decisions suck
12:31 - OK power nap is over. Baldinger makes me sleepy
12:51 - Caliendo roasts Bradshaw!! He is on the money as usual. I am looking forward
to his new show. Frank not Terry, we get enough of Bradshaw's tired act on

12:55 - We get 2 games locally here today!!!! Unfortunately its the Panthers/Saints
and Jets/Giants. Oh well thank goodness for the internet and NFL.com's
awesome scoreboard.

1:21 - Dick Enberg is an all-time great, but he has clearly lost his fastball. Thanks for showing up Brandon Jacobs. You play for the Giants not the Jets, nice gift.
1:26: - STUPID ANNOUCER ALERT - Randy Cross talking about the Jacobs fumble saying how Tiki used to carry the ball to prevent fumbles. Well Randy I don't know where you were but Tiki was known as a fumbler his first few years. One of the reasons he was not an every down back.

I Am Back

Sorry I have been away so long. I took a new job and it has taken way too much of my time. We are going to get back to writing about our favorite sport, Lord Football. We are 1/4th of the way thru the NFL season and there have been many surprises and disappointments along the way. Today I thought I would do a live blog during the days games. My fantasy football year has been awful. I am in 2 leagues and have not won a game in either league. It has been a combination of bad luck and poor lineup decisions. That doesn't mean we still don't love playing and will continue to make moves to get back on top. Stay tuned for my live blog today. It will be good and good for you.
